DOORS — Roblox Horror Experience

DOORS is a Roblox horror game inspired by Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion, Rooms (nicorocks5555) and Spelunky. Players progress through procedurally generated rooms while encountering unique entities — most of which are extremely dangerous and potentially unpredictable. From entities like Rush, Ambush, Halt, Hide, Seek, Figure, and many more, players will have to learn their patterns and behaviors to survive. Players can also find helpful items like the flashlight, lighter, vitamins, lockpick, and more to assist them in their runs. DOORS features multiple floors including The Hotel, The Mines, The Rooms, The Backdoor, The Outdoors, also consisting of old maps, event maps, and Visions. Each with its own unique mechanics, entities, and challenges. The objective: Survive and reach the end of the floor without dying.

Objective
- Survive through 100+ to 1000 doors in procedurally generated rooms.
- Avoid deadly entities with unique mechanics and patterns.
- Reach the final elevator of the floor or final room of the floor to take the dub.
Survival Tips
- Listen carefully for audio cues.
- Use closets and beds to hide from entities but not for too long in some floors cause certain entities pressure you to keep moving or prevent you from hiding for too long like Hide or Seek.
- Learn entity patterns and behaviors. A lot of entities have specific tells and patterns that can be learned to predict their actions and survive.
- Play with friends! Some entities are easier to survive with multiple players, and it can be more fun to experience the game together.
- Use items like flashlight and lighter to navigate through dark rooms when it is hard to see, but be mindful of your battery and lighter fuel. They can run out if you use them too much, leaving you vulnerable in the dark.
Entities
- Attacker entities that can kill players, damage them, or cause other negative effects.
- Helper entities that can assist players in various ways or just chat for fun.
- All entities have unique behaviors, spawn conditions, appearances, and interactions. Some appear once or twice like halt, some appear frequently like rush or ambush, and some are guaranteed spawns like Seek and Figure.
- Some floors like Hotel and Mines have similar entities like Seek, Rush, Ambush, Figure, etc. but they have different behaviors, spawn rates, and mechanics to keep players on their toes.
- Some other floors like the Rooms and The Backdoors have completely different entities from your normal regular Hotel and Mines entities. The rooms consists of entities with some similar functinons/behaviors as normal entities but they are either faster or slower or unpredictable or lethal. The Backdoor has fewer entities but are much more frequent since it only has 50 doors.
- The Mines consists of the most entities at once(25 total entities) and The Backdoors has the least entities at once(4 total entities).
